One Arm Lateral Incline Chest Press Machine · Preview
Setup
Sit deep against the pad and align the handle with the outer upper chest. Grip one handle, brace with the other hand, and plant your feet.
Start phase
Press up and forward through the upper chest. Brace your abs so the torso cannot rotate.
End phase
Return slowly and lengthen the upper chest. Keep the shoulder from rolling forward as the load pulls.
Target muscles
Drive the elbow diagonally up and inward. If the arm dominates, lower the weight and reconnect with the upper chest.
Common mistakes
Twisting or flaring the elbow makes the front delt fatigue first. Torso stability matters more than load.
Breathing
Exhale on the press and inhale on the return. Steady breathing limits movement while training one side.
Coach tip
Use the same setup and speed on both sides to compare balance. If the weaker side wobbles, lower the load and learn it one side at a time.
